Tell us about your day: Sloane Lynn Schorsch, the eldest daughter of Shelley D. Schorsch and Nicholas S. Schorsch of New York, N.Y. was married October 4th to Chase Acker Richmond, the son of Penelope L. Richmond and David J. Richmond of Claremont, Calif. Minister James Stern performed the ceremony at the bride’s family home in Newport, R.I.
Sloane, twenty-seven, spent her formidable years studying opera and the classics. She is an accomplished musician and attended Drexel University.
Her father is Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of American Realty Capital, Inc., an investment advisory firm. Her mother is an artist and mother of five. They are both active philanthropists and support a variety of charitable organizations.
Chase, twenty-four, is an Executive at Realty Capital Securities in New York. He attended San Diego State University. His father is a Financial Advisor at Crown Capital Securities, L.P. in Orange, California. His mother is a homemaker, and a mother of three.
Sloane and Chase met in Las Vegas, while Sloane was pursuing her music career on the West Coast. They will make their home in New York City.
