Tell us how you met: Suprisingly, we met through Match.com. I was always one to knock dating sites because I never truly believed in them until I met Paul. He was too good to be true. I knew three months into dating him that I would spend the rest of my life with him. He completed me!

During the summer of 2014, Paul asked me to move into his home and knowing in my heart that he was my soulmate, for the first time in my life, I felt no hesitation to go through with it. On October 27, 2014, we had planned to go apple picking because we really wanted to make an apple pie. That morning, he texted me “Happy 8 months honey!” Every text from him gives me butterflies, especially one like that!

When I got home from work, we left and went to the Barden Family Orchard in North Scituate to pick some apples. We filled up a bag pretty quickly but Paul kept talking about wanting to grab some Fuji apples before we left. He asked the woman about the apples and she said she did have some on the other end of the farm and needed to return the tractor/hayride to the other side so she gave us a ride. Of course, we thought this was amazing because we were getting a “free hayride,” just the two of us.

Once we got to the other side of the farm she explained to us that we needed to follow the signs to the Fuji apples. As we were walking, none of the trees had apples on them! Paul assured me to walk a little more up the hill, there has got to be some up there. As I got to the top of the hill i saw fifteen pumpkins carved with “Will Your Marry Me?” and i immediately said “Oh my gosh! How cute, someone asked someone to marry them here!” But when i turned it was my prince on his knee asking me. I couldn’t believe that he planned such an elaborate proposal for me, one that I will never forget! He had a blanket he laid out with champagne and cheese/crackers for us. (He even bought me a “Feyonce” shirt!) It was the most wonderful moment of my life and I cannot wait until we say I DO! It will be the most magical moment and he truly makes me feel like Cinderella every day.
