Kyle and I were married on Friday August 29, 2014 at Belle Mer in Newport. It was a picture perfect summer day with no clouds in the sky and an abundance of sunshine. As a little girl I always dreamed of having my wedding by the water in Newport and my vision of a classic, chic wedding by the water truly came to life. The clean white palette and crystal chandeliers in the Water Salon at Belle Mer provided the perfect backdrop to the gorgeous floral arrangements created by Pam from The Enchanted Florist and the hundreds of candles that illuminated the room once the sun set. Our ceremony took place on the lawn and was immediately followed by cocktail hour that included passed hors d’oeuvres, the quintessential Rhode Island raw bar and our signature drink: a mojito. The evening continued with dinner and dancing and was topped off with an exquisite sunset that took our breath away. Newport truly was the perfect backdrop to our perfect day!
