Feb. 12: Bridal Expo at Mystic Aquarium
Swimming in a world of marine life, Mystic Aquarium will be hosting an under-the-sea Bridal Expo. The event will feature one of the area’s leading wedding and event planners, Ocean Blue Catering. Spend your night exploring something blue from 6-8 p.m. Guests must be 21 years old to attend. Tickets are available in advance for $10 but will be $15 at the door. What’s the best part, you may ask? Well, one lucky future Mrs. will be walking away with an exquisite wedding by Ocean Blue Catering, valued at $15,000.
Feb. 14: Pop Up Wedding Event at the Narragansett Towers
What exactly is a Pop-Up wedding? A celebration of love in a surprise-yet-intimate ceremony! An officiant, photographer, and hair and make-up artist will be waiting for you at the historic Towers of Narragansett, overlooking the ocean waves. Tie-the-Knot, Pop the Question, or Renew Your Vows at our Pop-Up Wedding Event at the historic Towers in beautiful Narragansett on Tuesday, Valentine’s Day, February 14!
Feb. 19: Boutique Bridal Showcase
Enjoy an afternoon filled with breath-taking views of Bristol Harbor at the stunning DeWolf Tavern. Samples of cuisine by award-winning Chef Sai will be served along specialty table settings including décor, flowers, linens and more. Starting at noon and going until 3 p.m., the Boutique Bridal Showcase is completely free!
Feb. 18: Newport Bridal Show
The fifteenth annual Newport Bridal Show will be held on February 18 at Rosecliff mansion and the OceanCliff in Newport. The event will began at 11:00 a.m., allowing couples to shop for all of their wedding essentials between two of Rhode Island’s most elegant venues. Guests who register by midnight on February 13 will be entered for a chance to win a $1,800 French Perle Entertaining Package from Lenox! Tickets will allow entrance to both locations and free transportation between venues will be available.
Feb. 25: Bridal Consignment
If you’re a bride on a budget, this is the event for you! Starting at noon on February 25, Mind and Body Studios, located in West Warwick will be hosting a Bridal Consignment sale. Discounted wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, centerpieces, décor and more will be found here for one day only!
Feb. 26: Bridal Expo Extravaganza
Highland Country Club in Attleboro, Mass. will be hosting a Bridal Expo Extravaganza beginning at noon on Sunday, February 26. Here you will find an array of sample cakes, desserts, new products, demonstrations and complimentary samples for your whole bridal party to enjoy. The event will even include a fashion show with dresses by Alfred Angelo Bridal.
March 3-5: Ursula of Switzerland Trunk Show
Starting Friday, March 3 at 10 a.m., Ursula of Switzerland will be taking their Mother Of The Bride collection to Bottocelli, along with some styles that haven’t even hit the rack yet! Come try on some of the most comfortable dresses and meet Ursula herself. Sample sizes will be from 14-28. The event will run until Sunday March 5, at 2 p.m. Appointments are not necessary to attend the event.
March 9: Cocktails Veils & Tails
Get ready for an evening of informative fun, food and creative ideas to make your special day picture-perfect. Space is limited, so be sure to purchase your tickets in advance. The event will be hosted at Wannamoisett Country Club from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and all proceeds will benefit Free To Breath, an organization that aims to ensure that surviving lung cancer is the expectation, not the exception.
March 10-12: Tara Keely Trunk Show
FLAIR’s designer, Tara Keely will be showcasing her Spring ’17 collection on March 10-12. The dresses on display are inspired by feminine silhouettes and an assortment of shimmer and lace to create the romantic ideal bride. The event will be held at FLAIR in Boston offering 10 percent off your purchase as a trunk show exclusive.
March 17-19: Blush by Hayley Paige Trunk Show
Blush by Hayley Paige will be hosting a trunk show at FLAIR in Boston on March 17-19. The event will feature Blush’s 2017 spring collection offering an additional 10% off, solely to the trunk show. Blush dresses feature exquisite details mixed with tulle, lace and sparkle turning the ordinary bride into a wedding goddess.
March 26: The Rustic Wedding Expo
Mishnock Barn located in West Greenwich will be hosing a Rustic Wedding Expo on Sunday, March 26, stating at noon. Wedding professionals will be waiting for you to help create your enchanting woodsy dream day. The event will feature an assortment of countryside beauty from centerpieces to floral arrangements. This is the perfect event for the rustic bride.
April 23: Brides on the Beach
If you’re a bride who dreams of a mermaid lagoon, this event is just for you! Flip your fins over to Brides on the Beach, located in Westerly for a day-spent warm on the sand, as you plan your special day on land. Meet amazing beach-y professionals on Sunday April 23 starting at noon, to plan the perfect beach themed wedding. While the venue is on the beach, the event will be inside at the Windjammer Lounge on Atlantic Avenue in Westerly.
